stunning views and easy access to incredible hikes
The breathtaking views from my balcony truly made my stay memorable, and being just under 2 km from the famous Muir Woods National Monument was perfect for my city strolls and nature hikes. I loved savoring my dinner while relaxing by a cozy fireplace, adding that special touch to my experience. The hotel is a bit dated and could use some maintenance, but that did not take away from the charm of the place.

Charming Views But Needs Service Improvements
Enjoyed a cozy queen room with a fireplace and stunning views. However, locating the room proved to be a challenge, and the service fell short during check-out. Dinner offered delicious fare, making it the highlight. Tip, Confirm room details before arrival for a smoother experience.

The stunning views and cozy fireplace in the spacious room were highlights of the stay. However, the check-in process was frustrating, taking too long with a lack of proper service. Additionally, the room showed signs of wear, with malfunctioning lamps and uncomfortable seating by the fireplace. For the price, the experience fell short of expectations.

would come again
The views from the room were breathtaking, overlooking the lush greenery and distant hills. The large bath was a dream for relaxing after hiking. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace for evening warmth. The breakfast had fresh fruit, homemade pastries, and great coffee. The lack of AC made the room a bit stuffy, though.

Entering the inn, I was immediately put off by the cobwebs and dead insects littering the space. it gave the place a neglected vibe. The room, while spacious, felt dated with a canopy covered in cobwebs and a fabric headboard that clearly needed cleaning. Plus, the lack of handicap access is a real issue. navigating the steps with heavy luggage was a challenge, and the keys for the room were finicky at best. The porch area looked appealing at first, but the spiderwebs and a dead plant made it feel unkempt, not to mention the gaps in the doors allowing bugs to creep in.

Stunning views and a cozy fireplace
I recently stayed for one night in a Queen Room with Patio and View, and the breathtaking views over the San Francisco Bay were simply unforgettable. The cozy ambiance with the wood-burning fireplace added a special touch, making our stay feel warm and inviting. While the dining experience was mostly great, we did encounter one server who was less than engaging, which put a slight damper on our dinner. Overall, a lovely place to unwind after hiking!

The location is fantastic. I loved the incredible views from my room. The cozy fireplace added a perfect touch, especially for chilly evenings. The trails nearby are perfect for hiking, and I appreciated being so close to nature. Breakfast was decent, and the service from the staff stood out—they were friendly and seemed genuinely caring. However, the decor really needs a refresh. Cobwebs in the corners were not what I expected for the price I paid. Some lights didn’t work in the room, which made it feel less inviting. The dinner menu was limited and disappointing, with flavors that fell flat. I also wish there were better amenities in the room. missing items like a mini-fridge or more comfortable seating took away from the overall experience. The lack of proper maintenance affected the comfort significantly. With such a prime location, I expected more attention to detail to make the stay enjoyable.

Great spot for a group trip! We loved hiking on Mt. Tam and hanging out at Stinson Beach for some beach fun. Breakfasts were tasty, and the views from our room were amazing. The cozy fireplace at night made everything feel so relaxing. Just a heads-up for future guests, the lack of AC can make the rooms a bit stuffy, so keep that in mind.
Had a tough time with the service at dinner. One waiter seemed totally disinterested, and it really dragged down the experience for us. It was disappointing when we wanted to enjoy our meal.
